Wow! We’ve had a busy Summer at The Hangout! Thank you for being here to celebrate your birthdays, as well as our own 1st Birthday Celebration back in July! The west side sure knows how to turn up for a party! It’s been a pleasure getting to know so many of you over the last year.
Now that Fall is right around the corner, it’s time to start planning our Fall Enrichment Classes! We’re so excited to welcome Queen City Zumbini back to Happy Hangout! Local mom, Dana Hill is the only certified Zumbini instructor in Cincinnati and brings this fun and high energy class to us for a 4 week series on Thursdays at 9:45am, beginning on October 27th. “Created by Zumba® and BabyFirst, Zumbini® is an early childhood education program that uses original music and movement to promote cognitive, social, fine/gross motor skills, and emotional development…” This class is for kids ages 0-5 and caregivers. Space is limited, so be sure to register at https://www.zumbini.com/en/classes/14924. The 4 week session is $80 and includes playground access and the music bundle for you to continue the fun at home! Drop-in tickets will be available on a class-by-class basis for $15 (if space is available.)
Our most popular STEM class series is back for another season! In STEM class, we’ll use the disciplines of science, technology, engineering, and math to ask questions, solve problems, and learn more about the world around us. This Fall, we’ll be featuring both a preschool and elementary aged class! Classes will be on Tuesday evenings, starting on October 4th and running through October 25th. The preschool class is best suited for ages 3-5 and will be from 5:45-6:15pm. The elementary class is best suited for ages 6-8 and will be from 6:30-7:15. Play is included with the class ticket, but please note that the playground will ONLY be open for class participants and siblings. Siblings will need to purchase a regular play ticket unless they have a membership. The playground will be open from 5:30 - 7:30 for class participants to play before or after class. Space is limited for each class, so snag your spot ASAP!

Don’t forget, we have Story Time with Ms. Alana every Friday at 11:00 am! This fall we will feature a monthly special guest, so don’t miss out! Story Time is always free with admission or membership.
