Ho! Ho! Ho! It’s that time of year! Santa is taking a ride on his sleigh for a very special stop at Happy Hangout on December 2nd. You can choose a 5:00pm or 6:00pm entry time for one hour of holiday family fun. Your little one will have time to play, do a craft, write a letter to Santa, and even take a special photo with Santa with your own cameras.
Wow! We’ve had a busy Summer at The Hangout! Thank you for being here to celebrate your birthdays, as well as our own 1st Birthday Celebration back in July! The west side sure knows how to turn up for a party! It’s been a pleasure getting to know so many of you over the last year. Now that Fall is right around the corner, it’s time to start planning our Fall Enrichment Classes!
Spring Classes We’ve had a BUSY Winter season here at the Hangout and we’re just as busy gearing up for SPRING!!! We know you’re all just as ready as we are! We’ve got some really exciting stuff coming up including new class offerings, workshops for parents, and special events! Classes We’re bringing back our Preschool “No Cooking” Cooking class for Spring! This will be a 4 week class for preschoolers, ages 3-5, and caregivers.
Happy New Year Happy Hangout Friends! We’re gearing up for our Winter class session and we’re excited to tell you about some new class offerings and how we’re changing things up a little this time around. First up, we have our new “Literacy Tots” class. This class is specifically designed for children ages 2-3 AND caregivers. This class will focus on beginning literacy skills, with an emphasis on teaching letters and sounds with interactive hands-on, child-led activities.
It’s time for Harvest Fest at Happy Hangout! On Saturday, September 19, from 1pm to 3pm, join us for a fun filled party to celebrate the beginning of fall coming up on September 22. A harvest festival is an autumn tradition among farming communities to celebrate a successful growing season. Happy Hangout is celebrating the success of our “growing season” with all our new friends, YOU! How are we celebrating? Fall Classes Wow! Can you believe the school year is already here? With our elementary aged friends heading back into the classroom, we wanted to give an opportunity for our preschoolers to learn new things here at the Hangout. We’re excited to offer two new classes in our Fall lineup. Our Preschool STEM ( Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) class will be a fun and interactive way for our friends to learn more about the world around them, foster creativity and problem solving, and work together with peers.
New Fall hours As kids head back to school and schedules start to get busier, we have decided to make an adjustment to our hours to better serve everyone. Our new hours will begin Sunday, September 5. Sunday 9:00-3:00 Monday 9:00-3:00 Tuesday 9:00-3:00, 5:00-8:00 Wednesday CLOSED Thursday 9:00-3:00, 5:00-8:00 Friday 9:00-3:00 Saturday 9:00-3:00 Just because Happy Hangout is closed, that does not mean we will not be busy. This allows more availability for private parties, for preschools/PTAs to have fundraisers, and for groups to rent out our whole facility.
Brand New Monthly Offerings!!! As we have met all of you in the past month, we have been listening to things you want from us. Since building into our westside community is one of our biggest goals, we could not be any more pumped to offer you two new ways to strengthen those community ties. Parent’s Night Out! - September 10 5:00-9:00pm Leave the kids with us and go have a night on the town with your other half!
Partnership with Dewey’s As we work hard to give our party guests more options when it comes to celebrating their special occasions, we have been looking for ways to make our parties feel exceptional. Providing delicious upscale pizza is just one way we are doing that. We have just entered into a partnership with Dewey’s Pizza to be our exclusive pizza provider. We are so excited about this partnership and look forward to serving Cincinnati’s best slices at our events.
